Jake Hoot Bringing Talent to Wilson County Fair

Jake Hoot, winner of “The Voice,” season 17 will be sharing his talent at the 2020 Wilson County Fair courtesy of Bates Ford, Lebanon, TN. As a local celebrity from Cookeville, Jake brought attention and support lately to those impacted by the EF3 tornado that ripped through our area in the early morning of March 3, 2020. His latest song “Tennessee Strong” (penned by Jake right after the tornado hit Middle Tennessee) is available to download and stream with the proceeds going to the Tornado Relief Fund. “Tennessee Strong” incorporates Jake’s focus on bringing peace and comfort to the people of Tennessee while reminding us that we are strong and will rise above whatever hardships come our way.

Jake Hoot will take the stage on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at 7:30 p.m. in the Livestock Arena (Building Y) with opening act Janelle Arthur. Janelle is also a Tennessee girl who came in fifth place on the twelfth season of American Idol.

Bates Ford will also sponsor The British Invasion Experience on Monday, August 17, 2020, starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Livestock Arena. Taking Fairgoers back to the 60’s and 70’s era with their music, concert goers can dress in costume to truly experience the feel of their music.

Thank you to Tony Bates and Bates Ford, Lebanon, Tennessee, for giving support to the Fair! Bates Ford has been sponsoring the concert series for over 10 years bringing great entertainment for our Fairgoers to enjoy all included in the price of their Fair admission says Randall Clemons, President of the Wilson County Fair. We appreciate Tony and Bates Ford for all they do for the Fair and our community!
