Ride the Music City Star to the Wilson County Fair
on Sunday, August 17

Special Event Ticket includes Roundtrip Train Ride, Transportation
to the Fairgrounds and Fair Entry and One Free Drink;
All Special Event Tickets Must be Purchased in Advance; Limited Number Available

Nashville, TN – The Music City Star commuter train is providing special roundtrip service to the Wilson County Fair on Sunday, August 17.  The special event train will run from Riverfront Park in Nashville to the train station in Lebanon .  Riders will then be transported by bus to the fairgrounds.  Their Music City Star “special event” roundtrip ticket includes admission to the fair and one free drink. The ticket does not include carnival rides. The Wilson County Fair Express is sponsored by the Wilson County Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Lebanon/Wilson County Chamber of Commerce.

Special Event Tickets for Wilson County Fair: Adult tickets are $20.00 per person; Children 12 and under are $12.00 each. All Special Event tickets will be sold in advance and are non-refundable. The tickets can be purchased on-line at www.MusicCityStar.com until August 12. A limited number of Special Event Tickets are available.

Tickets will be sold Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the ticket outlets until August 14: Donelson Senior Center, Mt. Juliet City Hall, Lebanon /Wilson County Chamber of Commerce and the Regional Transportation Authority Offices (6^th floor, 501 Union Street, Nashville). Tickets will be available at Riverfront Station, Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. & 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Music City Star’s Fair Express on August 17 will travel from Nashville to Lebanon :

Departure from Riverfront Station                  1:00 p.m.
Departure from Donelson Station                   1:15 p.m.
Departure from Hermitage Station                 1:25 p.m.
Departure from Mt. Juliet Station                    1:35 p.m.
Departure from Martha Station (Hwy 109)      1:45 p.m.
Arrival at Lebanon Station                               2:00 p.m.

Buses will transport riders to the fairgrounds and arrive at the Wilson County Fair at 2:15 p.m.  Buses will depart the fairgrounds at 7:00 p.m. to transport riders back to the Lebanon Station. The train will depart the Lebanon Station at 7:30 p.m., making stops at stations along the way, and arrive at Riverfront Station at 8:30 p.m.  

Note: Special Event ticket sales at all ticket outlets will conclude August 14 (or before if sold out).  Special Event tickets are not available through Ticket Vending Machines.
