Monday's attendance set another record! We welcomed 31,401 guests through the gates on Monday. We've set attendance records for every day, except Saturday. The all-time high attendances for any day was set the first Saturday of the 2009 fair, with an attendance of 105, 779. However, even with that incredible number, we are still on place to surpass the 2009 attendance record.

Attendance for Saturday was 74,819. We’re up from last year’s fair by 31,048! Even a gloomy weather forecast didn’t keep fair-goers away, and their diligence was
rewarded with wonderful weather. A short rainfall during the morning hours passed quickly and the rest of the day was perfect for the fair—not too hot and not too humid.

After months of planning, the 2011 Wilson County Fair is ready to go. Hats Off to the 2011 Wilson County Fair! Seems like everyone was eager for the gates to finally open for this year's fair!

The opening night (Friday August 12, 2011) set a record attendance of 51,302. With perfect fair weather, many people took advantage of the opportunity to join us for our opening night.

The Grand Opening Parade was a site to watch. With a heavily visited websites on Friday (11,000 visitors) and enthusiastic commentary on Facebook, the 2011 Wilson County Fair is up and running and already hitting full stride.

Wilson Farmers Co-op sponsored the Priefert Percherons at the Wilson County Fair. The team of six massive Percheron draft horses are under the guidance of talented horseman and experienced driver Jason Goodman.
