Hello, my name is George Wallace. I have been on the Board of Directors of the Wilson County Fair for over 10 years now. In that time I have served in many capacities. The latest of these is this blog. This blog will cover many subjects with the main focus being on us senior citizens. Don't stop reading because you are not a senior citizen, you might enjoy some of this content also.

Some of my interest are, photography, wildflowers, camping and the Wilson County Fair. So at any time you may see articles on any one of these subjects. I have another blog where the subject is "Whats Blooming Now in Middle Tennessee". This is a wildflower blog I started several years ago. Give it a look.

The "fair" is many things to many people. Right away you think of all the rides and the excitement of the midway. But this is only a small portion of the fair. There is something for everyone of all ages and interest. In this blog I hope to hi-lite some of the many activities, displays and events that may be of interest to other people in my age group.
