Fiddlers Grove Historic Village is alive with HillbilliesVille CountryFest – June 7-10, Noon to Midnight, and Noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Traditional Country Music on 5 Stages, good food and fun. Don’t forget to stop by the Fiddlers Grove General Store for a coke, moon pies or Sally’s famous fried apple pies. Local handmade baskets, crochet items, painted gourd bird houses, soaps and lotions are now available.
Join in the fun at 2nd Saturday in Fiddlers Grove. Free Tours are Saturday, June 9, 4-6 p.m. and Bluegrass Music by Wilder Mountain from 6-9 p.m. at the Fiddlers Grove Picnic Pavilion. Donations welcome. BBQ Plates $6.
Wilson County 4-H Jr. Livestock Exposition begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 9. Come out and support the boys and girls as they prepare their heifer, steer, sheep, or goats for show, compete for prizes and get ready for the State Competitions this summer. “POP Smart Livestock Barn.” Free to the public.
Tennessee High School Rodeo will be at the Wilson County Exhibition Center, Friday and Saturday, June 8-9. 7 p.m. $8, Children 8 and under FREE. There will be over $50,000 in prizes given to winners Saturday evening at the Finals.
