Mandatory Registration:  Sunday, August 16 • 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Pageant Pavilion Stage
Rehearsal
:  Tuesday, August 18 • 6:30 p.m. at the Fairgrounds
No registration accepted after 4:00 p.m., August 16

Contestants must be present at Registration and Rehearsal to compete.

No Mail In Registration

The winner of the Wilson County Fairest of the Fair will compete in the State Fairest of the Fair Contest in January.

RULES:

  1. Contestants must pay an entry fee of $25.00.  Entry fee must accompany registration.
  2. Each Contestant must have reached her 16th birthday by the date of registration, but not her 21st birthday on or before December 31, 2009.
  3. A contestant cannot qualify if she has ever been married or had a child.
  4. Dress must be formal and floor length. Daytime Business Casual (suits are recommended) attire will also be worn on stage.  Individual interviews will be held prior to contest.
  5. Contestants will be judged on beauty (75%) and poise and personality (25%).
  6. All contestants must be residents of Wilson County.
  7. The Fair reserves the right to require proof of age upon request.
  8. All participants must abide by the guidelines set up by the Beauty Pageant Committee.
  9. Past First Place Winners are not eligible to compete in the contest.
  10. Only the Contestant will be admitted at no charge to the Fair.

 
INTRODUCING "The Crowd Favorite"

  1. Each contestant submits a 5"x7" recent photo of herself. 
  2. All photos will be on display throughout the pageant for the spectators to cast their ballots.
  3. $1 will buy one ballot.
  4. The contestant with the most ballots at the end of the contest will win a plaque and a goody bag with gift certificates, salon products and other great prizes.
  5. All proceeds will be donated to the Girl Scouts of America.  You can learn more about the Girls Scouts  by visiting www.girlscouts.org
