Garden Rules and Regulations

  1. Exhibits will be entered between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2009.  Bring entries to the Youth Building
  2. All articles are exhibited at owner’s risk, but all reasonable precautions will be taken.
  3. Prizes will be awarded on the decision of the judge.
  4. Vegetables will be judged on quality (uniform in size, fresh, firm and undamaged; free of disease and insects.)  If only one entry in class, it will not automatically win first place.
  5. No person may enter more than one entry in any one lot.
  6. All vegetable and fruits must be grown in the 2008 season.
  7. All exhibits must be grown on home farm.
  8. Premiums will be paid on Sunday, August 30 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Entries in Classes five through eight will be removed at that time.  All other entries (Classes one through four) will become property of the Fair.
  9. Competition open to Wilson County Youth and Wilson County 4-H Members.

CLASS 1 - SILAGE
Premiums: 1st - $7 • 2nd - $5 • 3rd - $4
