Youth Exhibits

- All non-perishable exhibits will be entered between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2009.
- All articles are exhibited at the owner’s risk, but all reasonable precautions will be taken for protection of items.
- The division entered will be determined by the person’s age on the opening day of the Fair (August 21, 2009.)
- Name, address, and phone number must be on the bottom or back of each item.
- No person may enter more than one entry in any one lot.
- Canned items will not be accepted unless they are in sealed Ball, Kerr, or Mason Canning Jars – 2 piece seal, one piece not accepted.
- All items must have been made since the 2008 Fair.
- Prizes will be awarded on the decision of the judge(s). Judge(s) will not be required to award prizes unless the quality of the entry is deserving of recognition.
- Premiums will be paid and exhibits may be removed between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2009.
- The Wilson County Fair will not be responsible for any entry left past the time specified in rule Number 9.
- Competition open to Wilson County youth and Wilson County 4-H members.

RULES:
- All entries in this division must be entered Thursday, August 20, 2009, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
- No purchased mixes may be used. All entries must be made from scratch.
- Judging will begin at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, August 20, 2009.
- Winning entries must be left for display throughout the Fair.
- Entries that do not place will not be returned. They may or may not be displayed, depending on availability of space.
- Entries must be in disposable containers. All other containers become property of the Fair.
- All entries become the property of the Fair and will not be returned.

RULES:
- All photos must be the original work of the exhibitor.
- Exhibitor is limited to one (1) photograph in each lot.
- Judging will be based on quality, composition, originality and relevance.
- All photos must be at least 5 x 7 and no larger than 16 x 20 and small photographs will not be accepted.
- Photos must be mounted on mat board. The mat board must be at least 11 x 14 and no larger than 20” vertical by 24” horizontal. Any color mat will be accepted. No decoration allowed on mat. No poster board or framed pictures.
- The management of the Fair reserves the right to refuse any photograph deemed unsuitable for competition and all photographs will be displayed at the discretion of the management of the Fair. Entries that do not meet requirements may be disqualified for awards.
- Any photograph that has previously been entered at this Fair is ineligible to compete.

DIVISION Eight: 4-H TABLE TOP EXHIBITS
- Must have been a 4-H member during the 2008 – 2009 year.
- Exhibit must be related to the 4-H member’s 4-H Project (not school or science project).
- Must be “free standing.” (Member must furnish own card table.)
- Exhibits must be registered and assembled on Saturday, August 15, 2009 between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
